A Bar-shouldered Dove

This dove is generally found in gallery forests along water courses in northern and eastern Australia and the southern New Guinea lowlands.

It is quite hardy in captivity, but tends to be very aggressive with others, so breeding pairs need to be isolated. It is also not trusted with smaller birds of any species.
