My information about this breed was mostly supplied by Lee Seong Woon
These fowl are mainly from the following areas of Korea: Gangwon-Do, Gyeonggi-Do, Chungcheong-Do and Jeonra-Do.
They were nearly extinct but were saved in the 1980s and now the population is beginning to increase.
The birds appear in Black-breasted Red and Black-breasted Golden. Their legs are olive green or dark gray, eyes red-brown and earlobes describes as red and white. Males weigh 1.8 kg and females 1.3 kg.
