Poltavian Spangled Hen

These fowl were discovered in the Ukraine a few decades ago. They are somewhat similar to the extinct Livenska fowl (although those never had a Spangled form).

Poltava Spangled are fast growers, quite disease resistant and do not demand any special care.

Roosters weigh in around 4-5 kg, with hens around 3-4 kg. They lay 180-200 eggs per year.
