This is a Swedish bantam from Øland. It is only kept as an ornamental. There are two lineages in this breed. The one known as the Spitehöna is from the village of Petgärde and the other is from the village of Asklunda. Feathered legs may occur in both lines. The Asklunda is a bit more robust and the white spots are often larger. These bantams are good mothers.
