Some Info about Me

I live on a wonderful farm in the mid-Hudson Valley of New York State. I found this area when I was a graduate student working on the ecology of the wood turtle.

I have two major interests that involve a lot of my energy, time and love. I love to dance, especially Two-Step and West Coast Swing, and do this whenever I possibly can. I also keep lots of critters, specializing in fancy poultry.

To support these two habits--you gotta pay to get into most dance halls, and chicken feed don't cost chicken feed!--I work. For many years I've been an editor, indexer, proofreader, and writer. Lately I've also been teaching basic Macintosh skills, doing page flow in Quark, and building web pages.
